Dr. Bakke graduated at the top of her class at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School in 2016 and currently commits over 100 hours of continuing education annually to remain up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and technology.
Driven to advance her education further, Dr. Bakke completed UCLA’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency and trained under UCLA’s top specialists in implantology, periodontics, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry. After practicing on the West Coast for several years, she was ready to return to her Texas roots to be closer to family and relocate to Austin.
She takes time to get to know each patient and works toward a shared overall goal of a healthy mouth and confident smile.

She is very active in the Austin dental community and has been an active member and leader in several local, state, and national professional organizations. She has served as a board member on the local dental society committees and lobbied in Washington, D.C. for increased access to dental care in underserved communities.
Dr. Bakke has known she wanted to be a dentist since she was in high school. She had quite a bit of her own dental experiences growing up and fell in love first-hand with the ability to help people in a tangible way. She worked in dental offices before dental school, and since then has connected with patients to ensure their dental experience is as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
She is currently acquiring her fellowship through the Academy of General Dentistry, and also commits many hours annually to one of the most advanced continuing education groups for dental professionals in the nation.
When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants. She fosters dogs and volunteers at a few local animal rescue organizations. She is an avid yogi, enjoys reading, and hiking with her dog, Odin
