Although a Texas native, Dr. Andrea Bakke has been practicing dentistry in Playa del Rey, CA since 2016 and recently moved back to Austin. Driven to advance her education further, Dr. Bakke completed UCLA’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency and trained under UCLA’s top specialists in implantology, periodontics, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry. After practicing on the West Coast, she was ready to return to her Texas roots to be closer to family.
Dr. Bakke graduated at the top of her class at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School and continues to commit to over 100 hours of continuing education annually to remain up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and technology.
Dr. Bakke is known for her gentle touch, attention to detail, and commitment to providing her patients with the best possible care. She takes time to get to know each patient and works toward a shared overall goal of a healthy mouth and confident smile.
Dr. Bakke is an active member and leader in several local, state, and national professional organizations. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, exploring new restaurants, yoga, reading, and hiking with her dog, Odin.
